Basel watch exhibition on March 31th ~April 4th 2022

On August 30, 2021, Baselworld officially opened its first "pop-up event" in Geneva, with a press conference showcasing the new spirit of Baselworld - open, joyful and connected. The event is part of Baselworld 2022, the official press release and the official announcement that Baselworld, Switzerland, is scheduled for Thursday, March 31st to Monday, April 4th, 2022.
The new Baselworld will be "launched in an unprecedented way, going beyond traditional venues to satisfy the industry and its customers." The new spirit of Baselworld will be showcased for the first time at a pop-up event in Geneva, which takes place on August 30 From Monday to Thursday, September 2, it coincides with the Geneva Watch Days.
10 watch brands - Claude Meylan, IceWatch, BA111OD Watch Concept, Bomberg, Furlan Marri, Ikepod, Riskers, Sinn Spezialuhren and Ludovic Ballouard and David Candaux of the Swiss Association of Independent Watchmakers (AHCI). They have all been selected under the new Baselworld banner for their independent image, scale and unique positioning.
In a highly inclusive atmosphere, this week in Geneva, people experienced a lively social event, including an opening party, happy hour cocktail reception, after-show and closing party. An exciting and professional live broadcast featuring an espresso talk between Baselworld Managing Director Michel Loris-Melikoff and Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin and Phillips Senior Advisor Aurel Bacs working with Bacs & Russo; with the World Jewellery Federation (CIBJO) A series of panel discussions by Chairman Gaetano Cavalieri on current topics such as blockchain (CIBJO has member associations in more than 45 countries, involving more than 7 million people in the world's jewelry and gemstone industries) on topics including "CPO (Certified Pre-Owned, Watchmaking and Jewelry)”, “Women in Watchmaking” and “The Art of Collecting”, among others.
This wonderful experience will be replicated on a larger scale at next year's Basel show. The "reborn" spirit of Baselworld 2022 will be revealed in a new environment that is friendly, stylish, open and more "people-friendly".
